As you all know Thorpe Park is trying to re brand the park into a thrill seekers paradise and to do this they must remove the kiddie rides and replace them with more adventures rides. Octopus Gardens has been at Thorpe Park since the dawn of time however all of this will end on Monday 6th September 2010. The area will finally close its doors to the public pending the construction of a new water ride called Storm Surge. Its currently unkown what will happen to the rides but we expect they will be sold onto fun fairs or moved into storage.
