Siren's Curse Nears Opening at Cedar Point

Cedar Point
Thursday 12th June 2025

Construction of Siren’s Curse at Cedar Point is edging closer to its grand opening day - 28 June 2025.

The track is now fully complete, and throughout the day you can spot two trains cycling around the ride as testing continues. The most impressive feature by far is the tilt track—a dramatic moment where the track itself lifts and drops riders into the main layout, delivering a truly unique start.

Built by Vekoma, this ride looks absolutely stunning, and we can’t wait to get back to Cedar Point to experience it first-hand.

A few finishing touches are still in the works: the queue line and surrounding plaza are under active construction. Unlike Top Thrill 2, this ride will feature double-sided lockers in the queue, which should improve flow and convenience for guests. The support bases have been painted and themed better than any Cedar Fair or Six Flags installation we’ve seen to date, showing a real commitment to immersive detail. The entrance sign and theming elements around the area are also coming together.

Notably, the speed of the tilt track seems to have increased during recent tests, showing that Vekoma and Venom are still actively programming and fine-tuning the system.

One of the most exciting aspects? Every row and every seat on this ride is going to deliver a different experience—whether you're in the front, back, or anywhere in between. From airtime to hangtime, the perspectives and forces will vary wildly depending on your position, which just adds to the re-rideability.

This ride looks incredible, and we can’t wait to see it in action—and feel it ourselves—very soon.
