Legoland Haunted House Foundations Laid
Sunday 8th July 2018
Foundations for the Haunted House ride at Legoland are underway, concrete appears to already have been poured in some areas of the foundations for the ride. Metal rebar and wooden slots for more foundations have been set up down one end of the site. It seems the base the ride will sit on has been completed but the sides to keep soil and dirt out are now being worked on.

We suspect that at the end of August and beginning of September we should start to see some framework for the ride to start going up.

Ground Works Begin On Haunted House
Sunday 10th June 2018
Groundworks on the next big ride at Legoland Windsor have begun. The path that connected Lego City and Adventure Land has been closed since the beginning of the season and now work has started on ripping up the path and digging out the foundations of the new ride.

Not much can be seen from public areas due to the high fences and position of the new attraction but it would appear some sections of the train route are being temporarily removed to allow for diggers and large vehicles to get access to the site. The new ride named “The Haunted House – Monster Party” is expected to open in March 2019.

Legoland Announce Haunted House Ride
Tuesday 10th April 2018
LEGOLAND Windsor Resort has officially announced their next big attraction will be called The Haunted House – Monster Party! A slight change of plans to the old Ghost haunted house ride the park originally planned to install a few years ago. The ride appears to be a Vekoma madhouse ride similar to Hex at Alton Towers. Posted on the park's website:

Vampire invites you and your family to the ultimate spook-tacular celebration at The Haunted House – Monster Party!

Join the LEGOLAND Monsters and venture through the mysterious mansion with mischievous ghouls and gargoyles hiding in the halls. Don’t worry, they won’t bite... they prefer to tell guests a joke or two.

Once you and your little monsters are seated at the grand banquet table the festivities can begin. Prepare yourselves as Vampire reveals his greatest party trick... using a fang-tastic potion to turn the house upside down. Can you hold on as you hang from the ceiling like a bat?

The party gets started in Spring 2019 only at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort!

Haunted House Plans Re-Submitted
Wednesday 14th March 2018
The old haunted house drop tower ride that was going to be installed at Legoland looks to have been scrapped in favor of a ride similar to Hex at Alton Towers. Revised plans have been submitted to the council. Gone is the scary looking haunted house and now is a building shaped for a Mad House ride.

The front of the ride building looks to be themed and all pretty, however, the sides and of the metal building will have some spider web designs added to it to make it more appealing to the eye.

Interesting to see Merlin finally investing in new rides at Legoland Windsor!

Something new is in the works!
Friday 9th March 2018
A new project is developing at Legoland Windsor! One of the paths that connects Adventure Land and Lego City has been shut in preparation for a new attraction. Written on both sides “No Peeking” suggests that we will soon hear what is going on.

For those that remember… a few years ago Legoland Windsor tried to build a haunted house drop tower ride in the area, however, the council and locals didn’t approve of it until Legoland took them to court and later had the plans approved.
