Chessington 2019 Closed Season Insight

Work is underway at Chessington to prepare the park for the main theme park season which is just around the corner. With selected rides open for Christmas those rides are now undergoing maintenance. For example, Sea Storm has been stripped down to a component level and the Black Buccaneer has been dismantled and is currently undergoing maintenance. 

You cant see a lot of the park from the areas open for Zoo Days but from what we can see the train for Scorpion Express has been removed and hasn’t returned yet. The cars for Tiny Truckers are still on the track, and some of the game stalls have been boarded up becoming a large cupboard for the large teddy bear crane stands. 

It would also appear the sign for toadies crazy cars has gone missing over the closed season.  Could this be general maintenance or the end of the road for the ride?
