Chessington World Of Adventures have been fined 150 thousand pounds after a girl was injured from falling from the tomb blasters queue line back in 2012. The hearing took place at Guildford Crown Court and where the jerry were told water dripping from the roof had rotten fence posts lining the queue line. The girl suffered broken ribs and was in hospital for a month. Before rides and attractions are opened in the morning the rides are checked by maintenance and the queue lines are checked by park staff. For a company so big this is nothing to them, do you think this is enough?
Since the indecent all queue lines at Chessington have been looked at and have been secured with the tomb blaster queue changed to have metal high bars themed as bamboo. In a statement from the park they said, "What happened to the young child was an isolated incident which we deeply regret, and from the outset we have put in place a package of support for the child and the family which will continue for as long as is required.”
