Chessington World Of Adventures
Tuesday 26th February 2019

Work is continuing around Chessington to prepare the resort for the main theme park season which is due to start on the 10th March 2019. More sections of the park were open for the past week as part of the February half term event meaning we could see more of the work that's been going on behind closed doors.

Rameses Revenge is still undergoing maintenance with some of the restraints spotted outside the ride, there is also still a large scaffolding structure protecting the main gondola from the elements. The entertainment department has started to rehearse a new show in the Gruffalo Area. New game stands are being installed across from Rattlesnake and near Dragons Furry. Jungle Bouncers has been put back together, Toadies Crazy Cars has got a new hand-painted sign. The Vampire has been testing and one of the supports for the ride has been covered over near the burger kitchen to stop kids falling into a hole. A new go-cart track appears to be being installed where the old park carousel used to be, Sea Storm is still undergoing its winter maintenance. Black Buccaneer is still waiting to be put back together. Monkey Swinger has its swings ready for another year of fun.
