Chessington undergoes 5 million pound makeover

Chessington World Of Adventures
Wednesday 20th March 2013

Chessington world of adventures has now fully reopened for the 2013 season! The parks newest ride for the season Zufari ride into Africa is due to open to the public on 27th March 2013 however the park has last night announced a five million pound makeover to the park. As reported earlier in the year the burger kitchen had started its upgrade that work is now complete however due to the park being open during the closed season for zoo days some work is still going on around the park limiting the ride line up.

During the press night for Zufari a few days ago we spoke to a few park manors along with the director of the park who all said lots of work is going on around the park and that due to the bad weather has effected the work that has been completed. However many old features are coming back to Dragon Falls. The old rock work is due to make a return this year, not as major as it used to be but more themeing is going to be added as well as on the runaway train the rock work looks to be being redone!
