The re-tracking of Nemesis at Alton Towers is continuing, with more track and supports delivered every week.
Since our last visit to the park more 2 more sections of track have been installed for the final inversion. When riding the monorail, you can now see track coming out of the tunnel and the inversion taking shape. A small red pole can be seen keeping this section upright and supported whilst other supports are installed and finished. New breaks and kicker wheels can be seen sat in the break run waiting to be install over the next few months.
Supports for the turnaround inversion have also been installed. It won’t be long until more track is installed and views from the viewing platform will become more exciting!
The biggest change seen since our last visit is the removal of one of the legs of the Nemesis creature. Is this an indication of the theme of the station dramatically changing or just maintenance of the station structure?
