New Lioness Rani settles in

Following the passing of Chessington's lioness Kalinga the resort have found another lion to join Ashok. Rani the new lioness was born at Rotterdam Zoo on 13/11/2011 and the zoo keepers are hopeful that in a few years times that we will see some cubs. When visiting the zoo and seeing her we spoke to one of the zoo keepers and she said the two are already very close and she looked very happy in her new home at Chessington.
