Project Exodus June 2022 Update

Thorpe Park
Sunday 12th June 2022

Project Exodus at Thorpe Park is still in the planning stages.

Since being submitted the plans have received both positive and negative comments that the park will need to overcome in order to get full planning permission.

However... preparation work in Old Town has continued, Platform 15 and Roots of Evil are now fully removed, ready for an access path into the site. This means when / if the park is given the green light that major work can commence. Since our last look down monks walk, lots of fence panels that used to line the queue line for Timber Tug Boat and stopping people from entering Platform 15 from the old entrance have been removed giving you a great view into Old Town.

Other updates in the area since our last monks walk visit, Rocky Express is still standing and hasn't been touched yet, lots of Fright Nights theming such as the hay barrels are still sitting on the floor, some of which have started to grow grass and plants in them. It would also appear that some of the Platform 15 fence panels have started to be removed, this will really open up the area when all taken down.

Fingers crossed it won't be long until the park gets a decision on the ride.
