Slammer has always been on of those rides that if you see it operational you had to run to it before it broke down. But today Thorpe Park have confirmed on there social media channels that the ride will not be opening in 2017. Although the park hasn't confirmed it but we doubt we’re be riding this again in the future. Looks like we could have another loggers leap moment! However the ride has been having a lot of issues over the past few years.
