The Smiler was due to open in March but due to problems with the site and the weather everything got a bit behind schedule. However progress on the ride has now picked up pace and the cars for the ride have now arrived on site! Unlike other typical Gerstlauer cars these are 4 by 4 cars so 16 people can ride in one car rather than the normal 8, the cars overall look fantastic and will definitely stand out from any other ride in the UK once open. The park hasn't given a open date for the ride yet but it looks like it could be the end of May however the park have said that the ride will have soft openings all yet to be confirmed!
