During a recent trip to Cleethorpes' Pleasure Island shortly before it closed down in 2016 we noticed a ride that looked VERY familiar to a few of the TPG crew. Gravitron used to be located at Alton Towers from 1990-1991. Although it had a short life at the park it provided quite popular for people visiting the area which back then used to be called Fantasy World.
The idea was simple, the spaceship would spin forcing you to the outside using centrifugal force to keep you stuck to the outside. This meant you could pull all sort of moves to impress your friends. Shortly after it was removed from the park Cleethorpes' Pleasure Island brought it and its been in the park ever since. A classic nether the less however the ride was looking very run down.
