Build Update
Tuesday 22nd November 2011
Its only been a couple of days since the developers diary uploaded an update and theres already another set of photos from them. The park is working on the clearance of the ride where the park have a 2D metal frame making sure that the theming isn't going to hit people on the ride as they go rawring past... also in one off the photos we can see in the bottom left that the stairs is being worked on which are going to be used to transport people from one side of the station to the other as it is a two sided station. The theming around the head chopper section looks to be being started as more frame work has been added since the park has been shut. However one thing is for sure by the looks of the photos that we have seen though out the year this ride really is going to be worth the wait.

Track Completion
Saturday 19th November 2011
Well its now coming up to a full two weeks of Thorpe Park being closed and we finally get conformation that all of The Swarm track has been put up. Thorpe Park have said that the site is two weeks ahead of its self construction wise meaning more time for theming. Lets hope The Swarm doesn't turn into saw the ride only doing half the theming they said they where going to do. However looking at the two photos that we have got they are doing all of the theming as we can already see the plane being made in the bottom right hand corner of the first photo. Now the developers diary has said that they are going to be doing weekly updates meaning we will be able to see what is happening when and watch out as we shall soon start to see the ride testing.

Last Open Season Update
Monday 7th November 2011
Its the end of the theme park season and the last original update that we are going to have for a while In this update we see the inclined loop done and we see that the zero-g roll support is up and ready waiting for the track to make its way to the ride. Now lots of people have been talking about when are the trains going to be on site and the answer to this is no one knows but Thorpe Park but we think that its going to be around late December as every other year it has been around this time. Now in this update we don't see much change form our last update apart from lots more photos, but the site has really gone at a rockets pace as a month ago we were all saying that the site was looking behind but in fact it was running on time as seen by this last update.

Zero G Roll Progress
Thursday 27th October 2011
Over the last few days over at Thorpe Park not a lot has been happening with The Swarm site. They are half done with the final curve and they have now started to put up the supports for the inline twist. Now since the last time we went to the park there was no track and today we were greeted into the park gate / car park entrance to see the lift hill done and the first drop done. The Swarm really does dominate the park now as you can see the ride from the whole park if you get a good enough view point. Any way  The Swarm is really starting to progress now with near half the track done they have started to put the safety wire on the lift hill which is shown on the photos below. The station is starting to be all bricked up and the chain lift chain could be installed within the next month. Overall the site is really coming together now and The Swarm is looking to be just beautiful.

First Drop Started
Monday 17th October 2011
The lift is done, the brake run is done and now work on the first drop has been started. Today re reported off a video being uploaded showing the first helix being worked on and now just 4 hours latter we have photos of the first drop being worked on now it looks like there going from the bottom upwards so we should see the first drop done by the end off this week!!! Now the second pillar has been taken out whilst the first drop is done due to the crane having to be over one off the footers which one off the pillars uses. Now the flying fish has been closed until this first drop is done so there wont be any close up photos for the next couple off days so until then enjoy and a big cheers to Dominic Povall for sending us the photos.
