We Have A Lift Hill
Tuesday 11th October 2011
The lift hill has been started on the swarm at Thorpe Park. The photos shown below have been taken from the south parks Facebook page which no longer has a website. The lift hill by the look of it look to be almost half way but still has a long way to go until it is fully done as it has to go very high to get the speed to get over the first part. Now the rest of the track like the zero g roll and that haven't been started yet but it looks like they could leave the lift hill like it is now and get the rest off the track done then leave the lift hill to be done near the end off the project?

The Swarm Track Starts To Be Installed
Saturday 8th October 2011
Construction on The Swarm (LC12) at Thorpe Park is ramping up quickly with sections of track now being installed around the station and the first section of the lift hill has been put into place! Foundations can also be seen for some theming at the bottom of what will become the first drop. Throughout the day today, the final turnaround bend has been fully installed with each piece taking around 30 minutes to be installed. Although the rest of the track won't be so easy to install it's crazy how fast the rollercoaster will go up.

We Have Track!
Friday 7th October 2011
Track for the swarm has finally started to go up around the site. The brake run has been complete and the start of the helix which goes down into the station has been started. By the speed of the work done today it could all be done and put up by the end of the fright night event! However this probably wont happen.

Station Work Begins
Saturday 1st October 2011
Work on the station of the swarm has started and looks to be going at a steady pace! We expect over the next few days the station frame work should be complete.

Virtual Construction Begins
Thursday 8th September 2011
At the start of the day there was no track or building up however thought out the day the crane had been put up and work had been started on the new ride! Now at the moment we have the start of the lift hill being worked on and the station framing. Now the ride supports have been moved to the front of the site meaning that they are going to be put up in the new few days!
