The time has come — the very first construction update for Thorpe Park Fright Nights 2025 is here, and there’s already plenty stirring around the island.
The Saw Alive maze boat still looks to be slowly sinking, and interestingly, some of the old Saw Alive branding on the back of the boat is starting to show through again after being painted over a few years back. A creepy touch of nostalgia, whether intentional or not.
Over at the old Saw Alive plaza, set pieces for The Crows scare zone have been delivered and are ready to be built again. We’re expecting this area to be closed off from guests as early as next week, as prep for the zone gets underway.
Trailers has received some much-needed attention too, with the entrance façade freshly repainted. After looking quite run down last year, it’s now looking better than ever and should be a standout again this season.
The area typically used for Stitches is currently home to a Coke Freestyle experience for the summer — but don’t worry, Stitches will still be returning to this spot for Fright Nights. The Coke setup is just a temporary installation and won’t affect maze construction later in the season.
Over in Stealth plaza, Creature Campus: Shock to the System is confirmed to return. There’s no stage in place yet, but with the show continuing to grow in popularity, we’re hoping this year sees an expanded setup to match its growing fanbase.
Lastly, Survival Games is showing signs of development, with fresh wood spotted near the entrance while riding The Swarm. Could this mean a new layout or significant updates for 2025? Nothing’s confirmed yet, but it definitely looks like something’s happening.
There’s also growing speculation around Big Easy Boulevard, which could play a much larger role in Fright Nights this year. The newly released promo art for Fright Nights 2025 features signage and styling very similar to the bold, neon look of this area. Could this be a hint?
With the 4D ‘IT’ experience already confirmed for the area, it’s entirely possible that Big Easy Boulevard could double as a brand-new, large-scale scare zone. Given its open layout, heavy theming, and the strong tie-in to the promotional visuals, this feels like more than a coincidence. We’ll be watching this space very closely as the event build continues.
We’ll be keeping a close eye on everything as Fright Nights 2025 creeps closer — stay tuned for more updates soon!
