Merlin Entertainments Announce Covid 19 Measures

Merlin Entertainments have released a new policy spanning 9 pages explaining how they plan to protect employees and guests, in relation to Covid-19, when attractions are allowed to reopen. 


In the document, various measures are spoken about.  These include; making online bookings where possible, wear a face mask or cover your face if recommended by the local authorities and be ready to use contactless payments where possible. Whilst at attractions, some strategies for separating guests will include; empty rows and leaving empty seats between guests in ride vehicles. Entertainment, in the form of live shows or theatrical scenes, audiences will be separated from the performers and each other in accordance with social distancing requirements. 


Throughout the parks, they will ensure that there is; Personal Protective Equipment, Deep Cleaning, and a large number of hygiene stations around the parks and attractions. 


Merlin employees will also participate in COVID-19 specific training programmes, instructing them how to stay safe, as well as how to keep guests safe.
