TPG Live Blogs Are Back For 2021

Friday 9th April 2021

It feels like a long time coming but following on from the green light from the government to move to the next stage of the roadmap, Theme Parks are officially allowed to open on Monday 12th April and we are so excited to get back to sharing our updates from the parks and we have a lot to catch up on!

However, we've not just been sitting idle on our live system for 4 months, we've made some changes to make the overall live experience better so keep an eye out for this as we begin our watch our live coverage. Speaking of which, when can you watch us live from the parks next? Well, strap in, as we've got a busy schedule!

Monday 12th April 2021 (AM) - Chessington World of Adventures

On the first day of opening, we are heading to Chessington World of Adventures to experience Croc Drop, the park's new attraction for this year.

This jaw-dropping new ride will plunge riders 25m into the giant jaws of a crocodile, Sobek, the ancient Egyptian Crocodile God and protector of the Nile, who has been possessed by evil spirits, transforming him into a cruel deity.

With the once fertile Nile laying stagnant, riders must take part in a ceremony to banish the evil spirits from Sobek, plunging into the crocodile’s soul and freeing the waters back into the Nile.

If the visit to Chessington in the morning wasn’t enough thrills and entertainment, in the afternoon we will be visiting Thorpe Park to check out all of the work that has been done during the closed season.

Although their new attraction ‘Black Mirror Labyrinth’ will not be opening until 21st May due to government restrictions on indoor facilities, we will check out the exterior of the building and any other changes across the resort.
