Safari Skyway was a old mortal system that used to transport guests high above the ground and show them the Zoo, from above the Lion enclosure, Tigers and Gorillas you could see the whole of the zoo without moving or having to battle the crowds to see. The best thing about the ride was if you where new to the park it would give you a audio described journey. With information such as “Capybaras are the largest rodent on earth”
Built in 1987 the ride had started to become very unreliable over the last few years of it operating, because of this the ride was closed for the start of 2016 season and has since been removed. Although the station still remains.
