Croc Drop has officially opened at Chessington World of Adventures, after a snowy start to the morning Sobek managed to melt the snow to drop guests 25.6 meters into the mouth of the crocodile.
From the ground the ride doesn't look that high but once your onboard you quickly realise your towering above everything in the area and the park. The theming of the crocodile and the ride station is incredible and beyond anything, we've ever seen at a Merlin park before. The music and atmosphere of opening day were amazing and everyone coming off of the ride had a huge smile on their face.
The length of the ride is also way longer than we expected, with the park being so busy we believe that the ride has two cycles one short and one long. The ride length and throughput didn't seem to affect the queue time during the day with it being between 30 and 60 mins for most of the day.
