Some monkeys can be mischevious in the wild, let alone around guests at Chessington World of Adventures. With the Amazu treetop adventures going above the animal's enclosure, it's inventable that some things are drop into their enclosure.
Introducing, 50p Monkey!
Earlier yesterday, a guest accidentally dropped some loose change into the monkeys' enclosure, creating a magical moment between a 50pence piece and a monkey. Spotting the shinny object fall to the ground, the monkey ran towards the coin, putting it close to his eye and immediately claimed it as his own!
Running into the main enclosure, he started to find random places where the shiny 50p looked good. Showing off his new 50p to the guests at the window, the monkey decided that it looked good there.
Animal keepers were informed of the animal and its loose change, quickly retrieving the money and returning it to us as a present!
